"Graphalytical" Courtesy Flush

About a year ago, Forbes ran an article about CrowdSpring. For those who don't know what CS is, companies submit projects to CS and creatives do spec work to try and win prize money. This completely defeats the logic behind the concepts. One major problem with this clearing house concept is the lack of research behind the company and the logo. The analyzation of the logo is where the strength behind it comes from. The second thing is the company that submitted the job (while they do have to choose one design) does not have to use the design. An actual designer will generally create standards for use, but the company gets nothing. They could completely misuse the logo due to no guidelines being created.

The award for the winning design if basically a "courtesy flush."
